Resource management in project.net

Most enterprise projects primarily focus on finish date or budget, at times a project is defined by its resource limitations. In such a situation, effective resource management is the primary focus and it is prioritized to all other aspects of the project. Considering a resource-constrained project, a resource should not be under-allocated or over-allocated. The right tasks need to be assigned depending on the capability of the resource.

Resource Management
The ideal situation is to have a 100% utilization of all resources in your projects. Resources who are assigned with tasks more than billable hours are  considered as over-allocated and resources with work less than the billable hours are under-allocated. Project.net helps you with resource management, task allocation and actual utilization.

My Assignments
In Project.net, you can view all assignments for a particular period of time with finish dates and end dates. New Assignment creation feature helps team members to divide their own work in small different assignments. They can also assign some tasks to other team members.

Resource Allocation
Monthly view of resource allocation helps in identifying the over-allocated and under-allocated resources. Allocation of resource can be viewed when breaking big tasks into small sub tasks and assigning them to members.
