How to prevent users from changing important information of the project like authorized budget, start and end dates, documents etc?

The Space Administrator has the authority to provide access and permissions to users (team members/associates) for various modules in Thus, users can be restricted from changing important information of the project. This can be achieved by providing “View” or “Modify” permissions to the user through role security screen.

Steps to show how permissions can be assigned/changed

  • Go to the project dashboard
  • Click Setup


  • Click Security option


  • Select the Role name that you want to block or modify permissions in "Person/Role"
  • Uncheck the check box under Modify column
  • Click Submit to save changes      

         Click on Play to view the video on how permissions can be assigned/changed
